Carroll Williams grew up in Bauxite and Benton, Arkansas. He attended LRJC which is now UALR. He earned his Bachelor's degree in History at the University of Miami in Coral Gables Florida and earned his Master's degree in History at the University of Denver. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He has worked in the aerospace industry as an electronic flight control technician, and was a high school teacher in Miami, Florida. Carroll was a professor of history at Arapahoe Community College in Colorado for twenty-two years and served ten years as Chairman of the History Faculty. Later he served the State of Georgia for six years as a computer systems analyst. Carroll excelled in recreational slalom ski racing while living in Colorado, and was active in figure skating. He is a private pilot and a world traveler. He is a past president of the Scribblers of Brevard, a writers club on the Space Coast of Florida and is a current member of Conway Creative Writers. Carroll is a current member of the board of Conway Symphony Orchestra. He is an Arkansas native and a resident of Conway. He has led an active life and describes himself as "actively retired." |
